Really great find. Best restaurant we have found, in Maine. Garlic naan was super good. Great use of flavors, spot on with the Saag and the curry and the portions are perfect. The mango ice cream is a must try. Will be back next time we are in Maine! Love it and the staff are great!!

I wish I took photos, because this food was so incredibly delicious and really beautiful to look at as well. I’ve been to a lot of New York City Indian food restaurants, and I must say this is one of the best I’ve ever been to. Bravo Brunswick Maine! Bombay Mahal thank you. Please check out the very creative ceiling on site at Bombay Mahal while you dine. I’ll be sure to take a photo of it next time as it belongs in a gallery!

Beautiful restaurant with true Indian flare. Native tunes playing in the background. We were greeted with absolute joy, a full history Of the place and even got to meet the chef. He was wearing a traditional turban, you know the food is authentic! Freshest ingredients and when I wanted more spice they handmade me a special hot sauce and brought it to me. 11/10 recommend. My 8 year old even loved the food and asked if we could come back every time we go out! They just started serving gelato with an Indian flare. So good!

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Bombay mahal we were on the way from Acadia and was so hungry. And I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Ambiance is awesome they greeted our group very well. The decor beautiful reflects Indian MAHARAJA culture with vibrant colors traditional artwork. Service is excellent staff was very attentive and friendly. Food is nothing short of spectacular. Every dish we tried was bursting with authentic punjabi flavors and made with finest ingredients. It’s a gem for anyone looking for Indian food and you won’t be disappointed.

With Van and Sath heading the customer experience, a brand new remodel and bar, and exciting new additions to the menu, it has been wonderful! Today we went ( as we have the last three years) and were pleased to see a Maine Blueberry Dahl puri added to the appetizers. It was SO GOOD, having a cool fresh bite to the hot day. We also tried a cauliflower pakora which was new and so good, and the chicken khorma and tikka masala. The inside is even more gorgeous and I highly recommend them as I always do every chance I get! Thank you guys

Amazing service and food. We were greeted at the door by our server. Explained the drink menu and asked immediately if we knew what we wanted for drinks. The food was incredible, I got the lamb biryani and my husband the shrimp tandoori. The medium spice was almost too much. I really like spicy foods. Perhaps the mild would have been better for a palate not used to that much spice. The shrimp tandoori is served sizzling. The spice fills the room. If you’re sensitive to strong smells perhaps skip the tandoori. My husband got the Rupee IPA which he liked so much he almost asked to purchase some to bring home. I had the darjeeling tea which i had never had before. I like the spicy flavor. I would highly recommend the mango chutney. Doubles as a dessert. I wish i had saved room for the mango ice cream! I can’t wait to go back to try more dishes. Worth the hour drive. And I wish I had gotten more pictures of the food.
